Tania Hall, MD

Tania Hall was born in Anchorage and raised in Eagle River, Alaska. She says working hard to take the best care of her patients can mean different things for different people on different days. Tania loves helping patients achieve their health goals, whatever they may be – for example, helping a woman find the right contraception for her body or performing surgery to help women who experience symptoms like pain or bleeding. Delivering babies, she says, is an absolute joy.

Tania is a Fellow of the American College of OBGYN. She attended Chugiak High School and completed a Bachelor of Science in biochemistry and molecular biology at the University of Alaska Fairbanks, graduating magna cum laude with leadership honors. She went to medical school at the University of Washington and completed her residency at Maine Medical Center in Portland, Maine, winning the medical student teaching award two years in a row as well as an ambulatory award. She joined the Alaska Women’s Health team in 2015 and has been adjunct clinical faculty and a mentor with the University of Washington School of Medicine’s WWAMI Regional Medical Education Program since 2018. She enjoys introducing medical students to the field of OBGYN.

Tania enjoys spending time with her family (including her husband and two sons) while “hobby homesteading” with their chickens, turkeys, ducks and bees. She also enjoys berry picking, hiking, skiing, fishing, hunting, camping and enjoying her husband’s homebrew.
