Rebecca DeHority

Rebecca (Becca) DeHority grew up in upstate New York and has been slowly moving her way across the country ever since. She graduated from Haverford College in Philadelphia with a degree in Psychology and Neurobiology. She attended medical school at the University of Rochester where she also met her husband, who is a Cardiologist in Anchorage.

Becca completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Case Western in Cleveland, OH. Her first 5 years in practice were in Seattle, WA where she is proud to have served as the associate program director at Swedish Medical Center and graduate the inaugural class of residents in 2026. Her passion for education extends to her relationships with patients. Her goal in every encounter is for patients to feel empowered with the knowledge to make informed decisions about their health.

She enjoys the full scope of obstetrics and gynecology including low and high-risk pregnancies, minimally invasive surgery, PMOS, and menopause care. She is deeply committed to staying up to date on the most evidence-based care and treatment options for her patients.

Outside of work Becca enjoys running, hiking, and all things outdoors. Her cookbook collection cost a shocking amount to pay by weight to move up to Alaska, but was worth every penny. She can usually be found chasing her toddler and dog around.

“Everyone that I interacted with was very kind, courteous, and professional. They were very caring about my comfort level and were excellent in every way!”

“Dr. Alia Parker is always so polite and always answers my questions and concerns thoroughly. Everything goes smoothly with her she’s good at what she does and cares for her patients.”

“I was extremely surprised at the way everyone was so polite and plesant. Everything exceeded my expectations and the doctor was so compassionate. I cried! Being a patient of Alaska Women’s Health is an absolute pleasure.”
