Sherifat Ope-Adenuga, M.D.

Sherifat Ope-Adenuga, M.D. attended Texas Women’s University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. Following graduation, she spent 2 years as a registered nurse at The Methodist Hospital Texas Medical Center, Houston Texas.

Dr. Ope-Adenuga went on to Ross University School of Medicine where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with her Medical Doctorate. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Richmond University Medical Center in Staten Island, New York where she served as Administrative Chief Resident. She received several clinical research and teaching awards during residency.

Dr. Ope-Adenuga moved to Alaska in 2016 and joined Alaska Women’s Health. Her clinical interests include high risk and low risk obstetrics, comprehensive women’s reproductive health and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery.

Dr. Ope-Adenuga enjoys cooking, dining out, exercising, traveling and spending time with friends and family.
