Our Providers - Mary Terranova RN, CNM

Mary Terranova RN, CNM received her BSN from Carroll/Columbia College of Nursing, Waukesha WI and worked as labor a delivery nurse for 8 years. She taught childbirth and anesthesia classes for many years. She eventually moved on to attend Frontier Nursing Service and Case Western Reserve University for midwifery and her MSN.

Mary began her midwifery career at Darnall Army Community Hospital in Texas and taught HypnoBirthing after having her own HypnoBirthing experience.

Mary moved to Alaska in 2004 joining the midwifery service at Alaska Native Medical Care. She has worked as a midwife at Elmendorf AFB and Anchorage Women’s Clinic before joining Alaska Women’s Health in the summer of 2010.

Mary offers a full scope midwifery services and looks forward to accompanying you on your journey through pregnancy, birth and beyond.

In her spare time Mary enjoys spending time with family and friends.
