The History of Alaska Women’s Health

Founded in 1983 by a group of 84 shareholders from Colorado and Alaska, Alaska Women’s Health had humble beginnings, offering only a few services by contracted physicians. Full women’s health services began in 1985 by expanding both services and the number of providers. In 2008, the physicians of Alaska Women’s Health bought out the shareholders. Since then Alaska Women’s Health, PC has been growing and strengthening the services we provide to our patients.
